Cardinals 1B Adams exits with bruised knee after collision

ST. LOUIS (AP) Cardinals first baseman Matt Adams has bruised his left knee and exited Thursday's game at St Louis.

Adams was injured when he collided with Philadelphia's Cameron Rupp in a play at first base in the first inning.

Adams left in the fourth inning for precautionary reasons.
