The Milwaukee Brewers have recalled infielder Jeff Bianchi from Triple-A Nashville and outrighted reliever Mike McClendon to their top farm club.

Bianchi was in the starting lineup at shortstop for Milwaukee's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday night.

This is Bianchi's third stint with the Brewers this season. The 25-year-old former second-round pick is 0 for 13 in eight games. In 92 minor league games at Double-A and Triple-A this season, Bianchi had a .325 average and five home runs.

McClendon had a 6.43 ERA in 14 innings over nine games with Milwaukee.
