Brewers' Lohse to visit family peace center

Kyle Lohse is more than just a right-hander pitcher for the Brewers and on Friday his presence will be felt in the community.

Lohse is scheduled to meet the staff of the Sojourner Family Peace Center and tour the construction site.

According to Cait Covers the Bases, "in October 2014, Sojourner celebrated the start of construction for a new Family Peace Center. Based on the nationally known and proven Family Justice Center model, the new Center will transform our community’s response to family violence and ultimately make Milwaukee and its surrounding communities a healthier, safer and more peaceful place to live."
