DENVER (AP) Atlanta Braves right-hander Julio Teheran left Friday night's start against Colorado in the fifth inning with an injury.
Teheran left the game after facing one batter in the fifth with what the team said was right lat tightness. His status was described as day to day.
Mark Reynolds beat out an infield single that Teheran had tried to chase down from the mound.

It wasn't clear whether Teheran hurt himself trying to run down Reynolds' hit or if he was injured in the course of delivering his final pitch.
Teheran walked off the field under his own power and was relieved Joel De La Cruz.
