BOSTON (AP) Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts has left Wednesday night's game against Tampa Bay in the sixth inning due to tightness in his left quadriceps.

Bogaerts raced from first to score on David Ortiz's double down the right-field line in the fifth. Bogaerts appeared to slow about halfway down the line before scoring easily. He walked slowly to the dugout.

Brock Holt moved from left to shortstop starting the sixth, and Chris Young entered for Bogaerts and played left.
