Organizers said Tuesday that former Blue Jays star Roberto Alomar, manager Cito Gaston and former Reds and Montreal Expos slugger Tony Perez will be honored at the games.

The Expos joined the National League for the 1969 season and remained in the big leagues through 2004 before moving to Washington and becoming the Nationals.

Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre hopes another large turnout will show baseball officials the city is ready to have a major league team again.
