Matt Dominguez led the way offensively for the Bisons, going 3-for-4 with a double and both of the team’s RBI. Dalton Pompey singled twice and scored, but otherwise, it was night to forget for Buffalo.
Scott Diamond was slammed for eight runs in just two innings of work, bumping his ERA up to 4.42 on the season. Chad Girodo picked up three relief innings to get Buffalo through five, allowing a pair of runs on three hits. Chris Smith (1.0 IP), Matt Dermody (0.2 IP, 3 H), Dustin Antolin (0.1 IP, K), Aaron Loup (1.0 IP, 2 ER), and Ryan Tepera (1.0 IP, 2 K) combined to round out the seven-pitcher effort.

New Hampshire managed to turn six hits into seven runs that included Rowdy Tellez‘s 21st home run of the season. Tellez went 2-for-3 with a walk, and has now homered in four of his last six games. Christian Lopes also continued his strong season with a two-hit performance, driving in one. Richard Urena was 1-for-4 with an RBI.
John Straka earned the win, going six innings and allowing just two runs. John Stilson pitched two innings of scoreless relief to set up Wil Browning, who closed it out with a perfect ninth (1 K).

Lansing Lugnuts (67-68) – 3Bowling Green Hot Rods (80-54) – 1
Joshua Palacios is red hot since his promotion to Lansing and added another three singles last night. Fellow 2016 draftee J.B. Woodman drove in one with a double while Andrew Guillotte went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
Angel Perdomo was brilliant on the mound, striking out seven batters over five and two-thirds innings of one-run ball. The left-hander did not issue a walk, but was removed from the game for precautionary reasons. Geno Encina struck out three in his two and a third scoreless before Andrew Case earned his ninth save of the season.
Vancouver Canadians (28-43) – 13Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (31-40) – 8
Vancouver was actually out-hit 15-12, but managed to better capitalize on their base runners and walked six times. Both Deiferson Barreto and Javier Hernandez hit their second home runs of the season as each drove in three total runs. Jacob Anderson went 3-for-5 with three runs scored, Juan Tejada went 2-for-5, and Andres Sotillo was 1-for-3 with three RBI.
On the mound, Mike Ellenbest got things started with two innings of work and allowed two runs on three hits. Andy Ravel (3.1 IP, 7 H, 5 ER), Jackson McClelland (W, 2.2 IP, K), and Christian Cox (1.0 IP, ER, K) rounded out the game.
Bluefield Blue Jays (36-31) – 3Princeton Rays (38-28) – 5
Shortstop Jesus Severino tripled and singled for Bluefield, scoring twice from the ninth spot in the lineup. First-baseman Bradley Jones doubled twice and drive in two while Reggie Pruitt (1-4, R) was responsible for the other RBI. Vlad Guerrero Jr. singled in four at-bats and is now hitting .275.
Yennsy Diaz allowed five runs over five innings in his start, including three home runs. Angel Alicea picked up the final three frames and looked very strong, keeping Princeton off the board and striking out five.
