Blue Jays, Indians reinforce bullpens after 19-inning game

TORONTO (AP) With their pitching staffs depleted by Friday's 19-inning marathon, the Cleveland Indians and Toronto Blue Jays both made roster moves before Saturday's game.

Toronto put infielder Ryan Goins, one of two position players to pitch in Friday's 2-1 defeat, on the 15-day disabled list with a sore right forearm. Goins pitched a scoreless 18th inning, escaping a bases-loaded jam by getting Chris Gimenez to ground into a double play.

The Blue Jays also optioned right-hander Bo Schultz to Triple-A Buffalo and recalled right-hander Drew Hutchison and left-hander Aaron Loup.

Cleveland, which used Saturday's scheduled starter Trevor Bauer for the final five innings Friday, recalled left-hander Shawn Morimando from Double-A Akron and designated utilityman Michael Martinez for assignment.
