Baseball media day photos taken in bathroom
Everyone has a bad picture day photo or two in their past, but the awkward moments usually aren't frequent after junior high — or once someone hits the major leagues.
Some photographers thought it would be grand for pro baseball players to take their annual media photos in strange places this year. The result is a couple of pretty classic photos from Texas Rangers’ spring training, where manager Ron Washington and phenom Jurickson Profar look to be raring up to hit the field by ... taking it all in next to the clubhouse urinals?
The Rangers weren't the only ones checking out new locales for photo shoots. The Los Angeles Angels' Kole Calhoun also had his photo taken in an unusual clubhouse corner — albeit a much cleaner one.
This, strangely, is nothing new. The Yankees did their 2012 media day pictures in the bathroom, too.
