PHOENIX (AP) Rickie Weeks Jr. hit a three-run homer, Paul Goldschmidt had two RBIs after being named to his fourth straight NL All-Star team and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the San Diego Padres 7-5 on Tuesday night.

Weeks hit a three-run homer off Christian Friedrich (4-4) and Zack Godley (2-0) worked around trouble through five innings in front of 14,110 fans, the smallest crowd in Chase Field's 18-year history.

Jean Segura had three hits, scored three runs and drove in another run for the Diamondbacks, who won for the second time in 10 games. Brad Ziegler gave up a leadoff homer to Brad Schimpf and two more hits in the ninth before striking out Matt Kempt to close out his 18th save.
