Angels 1B wants to be called Kendrys
What's in a name? A lot if you're Los Angeles Angels first baseman Kendry Morales.
On Wednesday the Angels' communication office released the a statement to the media saying that the official spelling of the player's name is Kendrys Morales.
According to the statement, Morales' first name has been inaccurately spelled without the ‘S’ since he came to the United States.

Morales is recovering from lower leg surgery and may not be ready to play by Opening Day. He was injured on May 29, 2010, after hitting a game-winning grand slam home run vs. the Mariners. As he leapt toward home plate, Morales landed awkwardly, breaking his left leg.
On Wednesday it was revealed that a South Florida sports agent has been charged with stealing more than $305,000 from Morales.
