Adrian Beltre turned a really awkward swing into a yoga pose

Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre is 37 years old, but he has a reputation for joking around on the baseball field. On Wednesday, he provided baseball fans with another gem when he turned a big swing into a hilarious blooper.

Beltre must have been swinging for the fences in an eighth inning at-bat against the Yankees, but he swung (and missed) so hard that he fell to his knees instead. Naturally, Beltre decided to lift his left leg into the air and pose like a gymnast or some kind of yoga master, because if you're going to fall down in front of a stadium full of people, you might as well show off your flexibility while doing so, right?

The moment adds to his list of hilarious antics on the field, and he has been full of gems this year even though the baseball season is just a month old.

A week ago, he hopped from foot-to-foot to avoid a stray pitch blocked by the catcher.

He also recently gave teammate (and fellow team comedian) Elvis Andrus a stare-down in the dugout when Andrus prematurely celebrated what he thought was a home run. The ball hit the wall instead and fell for a double, so Beltre was sure to express his disapproval with Andrus when the shortstop returned to the dugout.

And of course there was the moment a couple weeks ago when he had to call time to laugh at a bad pitch.

That's just Beltre being Beltre. He sure knows how to make what can be a long baseball game entertaining.
