Adam Jones sidesteps Orioles' no-pies-in-face rule in an epic way
One thing's for sure, Adam Jones knows how to get around rules.
The Orioles star outfielder, known for smacking teammates with celebratory pies in the face, shared his displeasure in the offseason about the team's new rule outlawing hitting fellow Orioles with pies. But he understood it was all for player safety.
No more pies can be delivered to the faces of O's players. But @dangerouspies can we still work together.

That's all well and good, but the real test came after the Orioles beat the Twins on Monday in dramatic fashion with Matt Wieters driving in the winning run with a walk-off single.
Jones just couldn't let the moment pass, rules be damned.

Yes folks, that was a cake that Jones used to highlight Wieters' accomplishment. But Jones knows his actions could cost him in the end.
I might get whooped for today's shenanigans, but dammit I'll take the spankin for this W. #OpeningDay #StayHungry
