A-Rod back in Yankees lineup in return from disabled list

NEW YORK (AP) Alex Rodriguez is batting fifth in his return to the Yankees lineup.

The team activated the designated hitter off the disabled list before Thursday's game against Toronto. The 40-year-old slugger had been on the DL since May 4 with a strained right hamstring.

He had been batting .194 with five home runs in 20 games.
