Lee Westwood says he has no concerns about his calf injury on the eve of the Ryder Cup, his first competition in nearly two months.

Westwood, on the verge of becoming the world No. 1 for the first time in his career, last played at the Bridgestone Invitational in early August. He says when he began putting weight on his calf during practice, he had no doubts he would be ready to go at Celtic Manor.

The only question is how many matches he will play.

Westwood says he wouldn't be at the Ryder Cup if he didn't think he could play all five sessions. Celtic Manor is a long walk because of the hills and soggy terrain.
