Nick Watney has won the Cadillac Championship at Doral with two big par putts on the back nine and a birdie at the end that left no doubt.
Watney rallied from a two-shot deficit Sunday against Dustin Johnson and closed with a 5-under 67 to win this World Golf Championship, the third victory of his career and by far the biggest.
It was the second time he was in a tense duel at Doral. Watney finished one shot behind Phil Mickelson two years ago. This time, Watney relied on his putter to come out the winner.
Johnson fell behind with a bogey on the 16th and couldn't catch up, closing with a 71.

Tiger Woods closed with a 66, matching his best score of the year, and had his first top 10 in official PGA Tour events in nine months.
