Tiger Woods falls trying to retrieve ball from rough
By Steve DelVecchio
Tiger Woods posted his worst ever round in a U.S. Open on Thursday when he opened up the tournament with a 10-over 80.
On Friday, he picked up right where he left off.
Woods, who started at the 10th hole for his second round, had to trudge through some thick rough to find an errant shot. He lost his balance and wiped out on the slope in the meantime.
We’d say that was the perfect summary of how Tiger has been playing lately, but nothing can beat this embarrassing shot from the first round. It would take a miracle for Woods to make the cut, which is probably for the best.
