Rickie Fowler shotgunned a beer at a country music concert instead of going to Coachella

While celebrities, festival-goers and professional athletes flocked to the California desert for Coachella this weekend, PGA pro Rickie Fowler was thousands of miles away and having a good ol' time.

Fowler was invited up to the stage by country music star Dierks Bentley at the Tortuga Music Festival, and the three-time PGA Tour winner put on a show for the fans in attendance by shotgunning a beer:

That, friends, is the difference between Coachella and an event like Tortuga. At the former, NBA players leap over their (rumored) model girlfriends.

In Florida, meanwhile, things are a little more down-to-earth. But it wasn't all fun and games this weekend in Fort Lauderdale at the Tortuga festival. On Friday night, the grounds reportedly had to be evacuated after a torrential downpour along with thunder and lightning created an unsafe environment.

Several hours later, gates re-opened -- and just in time for Bentley to take the stage. And thank goodness. If Mother Nature had refused to play along, we might have missed Fowler channeling fond memories of our college days.
