SAN DIEGO -- The Olympic Club is getting another U.S. Open, this one for women.
The USGA announced Saturday that Olympic Club will host the U.S. Women's Open in 2021. The San Francisco club has hosted the U.S. Open five times, most recently in 2012 when Webb Simpson won.
The USGA also announced at its annual meeting that the inaugural U.S. Senior Women's Open in 2018 will be at Chicago Golf Club. It is one of the five founding clubs of the USGA and the host of the third U.S. Open in 1897.
The Senior Women's Open in 2019 will be at Pine Needles in North Carolina, where Annika Sorenstam and Karrie Webb each won a U.S. Women's Open. The USGA last year announced the formation of a Senior Women's Open.
