Obama hosts Presidents Cup golfers at White House
WASHINGTON (AP) President Barack Obama and his most famous golf partner - Tiger Woods - are getting together again, but off the green this time.
Woods was expected at a White House ceremony Tuesday honoring the 2013 Presidents Cup team.
Woods led a team of American players to a fifth-straight Presidents Cup win last October against a team of international golfers.
Besides Woods, Phil Mickelson and team captain Fred Couples are among the American golfers expected at the White House.
Ernie Els is among the group of international team members who are attending.
Obama and Woods played golf together in Florida last year.
The president is an avid golfer who can be found on the course most weekends. He has played more than 170 rounds of golf since becoming president.
