DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (AP) Meg Mallon shot a 3-under 69 on Saturday at Seagate to take a one-stroke lead over Danielle Ammaccapane in the LPGA Legends Tour's Walgreens Charity Championship.
''I was thinking, `This was a nice start and let's just go from here,''' said Mallon, an 18-time LPGA Tour winner. ''I didn't get ahead of myself and that's why I continued to play well.''
Mallon made a 15-foot birdie putt on No. 18.
''I didn't think I had made that last putt, but fortunately, I did,'' Mallon said. ''It was nice to end that way with a birdie.''
