Matteson making his usual late run

This is the way it was supposed to be for Troy Matteson.

Instead of trying to jump into the top 125 on the PGA Tour money list and keep his card when he plays this week in the Viking Classic, Matteson will be playing for the first time on the two-year exemption he earned Sunday by capturing the Frys.com Open in a playoff.
