Brandt Snedeker has teed off in the third round of the British Open clinging to a one-shot lead over Adam Scott.

Tiger Woods began Saturday four shots back, looking to end a drought of four years since the last of his 14 major titles. He started with a bogey at the par-3 first hole after his tee shot rolled off the back of the green. His chip came up well short, and he missed an 8-foot putt.

A month ago, Woods was tied for the lead heading into the third round of the U.S. Open but faded on the weekend. This time, he's got some work to do to chase down Snedeker and Scott.

Snedeker has yet to make a bogey and is at 10-under 130 through 36 holes.
