How to watch the first round of the U.S. Open

The second major of the year is finally here. The best pro golfers in the world are bracing for one of the toughest challenges they'll ever face at Oakmont Country Club, site of the 116th U.S. Open. Here's everything you need to know to catch all the first-round action Thursday.

U.S. Open coverage will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET on Fox Sports 1 and run until 5:00 p.m. At 5:00 p.m. ET, television coverage will shift to Fox.

The USGA will also be streaming two featured groups and coverage of holes No. 3, 13 and 17 on and the U.S. Open app. For the first round Thursday, the first featured group of Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler and Danny Willett will tee off at 8:24 a.m. ET, and the second featured group of Jordan Spieth, Zach Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau will tee off at 8:35 a.m. ET.
