Five players earn their way to U.S. Open at Japan qualifier

Liang Wen-Chong led a group of five players who earned their way to the U.S. Open in the sectional qualifier in Japan on Monday.
The 36-year-old from the People's Republic of China shot two rounds of 65 at Kinojo Golf Club, earning his way to a second consecutive U.S. Open appearance.
The other four qualifiers include Japan's Masahiro Kawamura and Hiroyuki Fujita, Seuk Hyun Baek of Korea and Kurt Barnes of Australia.

In addition to the Japan qualifier, another international sectional qualifier took place at Walton Heath Golf Club outside of London on Monday. Ten sectional qualifiers will be held in the U.S. on June 8.
The U.S. Open begins on July 18 at Chamber's Bay in Washington.
