Bubba Watson's wild approach shot somehow ends up on the train tracks
Sometimes, it just isn't your day. Bubba Watson knows that feeling after a rough third round at the British Open on Saturday.
Watson caught a big break on the fourth hole when a sprinkler head saved his wild approach shot:

However, any hopes Watson had of making an improbable charge up the leaderboard then flew off the tracks. Literally. On his approach shot on the 11th hole, Watson launched his ball completely off the course and onto the nearby railroad tracks:

Watson settled for a triple bogey on the par-4 hole -- after suffering bogeys on the previous two holes. Needless to say, No. 11 isn't Watson's favorite hole. On Friday, his tee shot on the same hole flew over the train tracks.
Oh well, there's always next year.
