Adam Scott's last hole at the Players Championship was a total disaster
Adam Scott was well on his way to an opening-round 69 at the Players Championship on Thursday, but that was before he played 18. It's a difficult hole with water all down the left side, but Scott had a terrible time closing out his round.
After hitting his tee shot into the water hazard, his third shot was wayward right. It found the cart path and rolled as far as it possibly could away from the green.
After taking a drop, Scott hit his long pitch into the water after it failed to stop on the green. It's like his ball had a mind of its own, and all it wanted to do was destroy his round.
Scott wound up making eight, a quadruple bogey, to finish 1-over. Golf is hard.
