Wisconsin to introduce new football coach

MADISON, Wis. (AP) The University of Wisconsin plans a news conference to update their search for a new football coach to replace Gary Andersen.

Pittsburgh's Paul Chryst has been widely reported to be the university's choice. Athletics director Barry Alvarez was to appear at the 6 p.m. news conference in Madison.

The news conference is scheduled for an hour after regents planned to hold a teleconference in closed session to consider employment terms for a new l coach.

Andersen resigned as head coach to take over at Oregon State.
