LSU starting left guard Josh Williford has reportedly suffered another concussion, this one in a Thursday morning practice.

According to the Times-Picayune, the injury could be career-threatening for the player, who missed the final seven games of 2012 with a concussion as well. Citing a “source close to the program,” the report says the 6-foot-7, 334-pound senior was unconscious for about five minutes after a pileup during practice.

His first concussion came in a game last year when he was blindsided on an interception return and his head hit the ground, the Times-Picayune reports. Williford has played in 31 games for the team, starting in 19 of those, and is the only senior started on the offensive line.
