Welcome back: Watch Clemson's rehabbing WR Williams run routes

Published Feb. 2, 2016 10:40 a.m. ET

Clemson fans got some encouraging news on Monday when injured star wide receiver Mike Williams posted a video of him running routes and catching passes from quarterback Deshaun Watson.

The 6-4, 220-pound Williams suffered a season-ending neck injury in the Tigers’ first game of the year when he caught a touchdown pass and slammed into the field goal post during a 49-10 win over Wofford.

In 2014, Williams was a big piece of the Clemson offense as he 57 passes for a team-high 1,030 yards and six touchdowns en route to being named to the all-ACC second-team.
