Vai Tafuna's 2-yard touchdown run with 38 seconds remaining lifted Weber State to a 27-26 victory against Northern Arizona on Saturday.

Backup quarterback Mike Hoke was 11 of 15 for 168 yards and a touchdown to help the Wildcats (6-4, 5-3 Big Sky) rally from a 26-13 deficit in the fourth quarter. Hoke replaced starter Cameron Higgins, who set a Big Sky record with his 97th career touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage but left in the third quarter with an injury.

Michael Herrick was 24 of 45 passing for 310 yards with a TD and two interceptions for Northern Arizona (5-5, 3-4).

Hoke threw an 80-yard touchdown pass to Collins in the fourth quarter. Collins, who had eight receptions for 191 yards, also caught Higgins' record-breaking TD toss, a 64-yarder.

Higgins had been tied with Matt Nicholls of Eastern Washington and Dave Dickenson of Montana.

Daiveun Curry-Chapman had 10 receptions for 104 yards for the Lumberjacks.
