Watch: Virginia RB Daniel Hamm competes in the triple jump

The offseason is a time to rest for some Cavaliers, but Virginia running back Daniel Hamm is not one of them. Instead, he's triple jumping with the UVA track and field team.

Over the weekend, Hamm participated in the Virginia Grand Prix meet in Charlottesville and leaped an impressive 14.16 meters in the triple jump. Watch him take off in super slow motion in the video below.

Hamm has mostly been a special teams contributor during his first two seasons with the football team, recording just 40 carries for 216 yards and three touchdowns on offense.
