Iowa controlled much of the second quarter in the Big Ten championship game, and the Hawkeyes looked ready to extend their 6-3 lead.
Then something crazy happened.
Quarterback C.J. Beathard dropped back on a third-and-goal and tried to thread a pass to tight end George Kittle.
Kittle got his hands on it, but was hit hard by Spartans safety Montae Nicholson and linebacker Riley Bullough. The ball then landed on Bullough's back as he went to the turf — and was grabbed by Demetrious Cox for the third turnover of the game. Watch it unfold above.

It turned out to be a big stop, as the Spartans rallied to squeak by with a 16-13 win.
