Watch: Jim Harbaugh rips officials following Michigan's loss to Ohio State

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh tore into the officials following a 30–27 double-overtime loss to rival Ohio State, calling the spot officials have Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett on the second-to-last play of the game “outrageous.”

With the Wolverines up three in double OT, Barrett ran left on a 4th-and-1 option play to try to extend the game. He crashed into his own teammate right around the line to gain and fell backward, causing some confusion as to whether or not he actually made a first down. You can watch the play here.

Officials have him the first, and announced the call would stand after going under the hood to review the play. Ohio State won on the very next play.

“There wasn’t a first down,” Harbaugh said.

“I thought there were some outrageous calls, including the one that would have ended the game,” he continued. “I was bitterly disappointed with the officiating.”

Harbaugh was irate during several moments in the game, breaking his headset after an offsides call.

With its win in The Game, Ohio State moved to 11–1. Michigan fell to 10–2.
