Could this be the start of something special for the Hawkeyes?
In front of their home crowd the Hawkeyes beat Pitt 27-24 on a dramatic walk off 57-yard field goal. The Hawkeyes outgained the Panthers who are now coached by former Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi.
It was a grind it out victory for the guys from Iowa City as they moved to 3-0, outgaining Pitt 363-282.
