WATCH: Georgia's 'overall team speed' stands out to McElwain
Florida head coach Jim McElwain spoke about this week's opponent in Georgia during his Monday press conference.
He's appears to be particularly impressed with Georgia offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.
"Offensively, obviously bringing in a coordinator that does an outstanding job and has a lot of NFL experience," said McElwain. "You can see in how they shift, how they motion, how they take advantage of matchups."
The two-headed rushing attack of Sony Michel and Keith Marshall have stepped up in the absence of all-everything back Nick Chubb. McElwain lauded both as high-profile recruits from high school, and also spoke about Georgia's team in general.
"The thing that kind of stands out is their overall team speed," said McElwain. "They're fun to watch and they do a heck of a job."
Lastly, McElwain touched upon the history between the two programs. Billed as "The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party," the neutral site spot of Jacksonville will surely be rocking on Saturday.
"I'm excited to be a part of something that carries so much history, nostalgia...it's what college football is all about," said McElwain. "It didn't matter what part of the country you grew up in, you knew the Florida-Georgia game."
#Gators are really healthy for this time of year. McElwain says Cyontai Lewis and Marcel Harris are back, both big for this team.
