WATCH: Buckeyes extend lead at Michigan with pair of spectacular TDs
Ohio State romped over Michigan 42-13 on Saturday, using a pair of spectacular touchdowns in the third quarter to gain separation from the Wolverines.
Ohio State began the quarter primarily moved the ball on the ground until getting to the Michigan 25-yard line, when J.T. Barrett dropped back to find Marshall, who had only a little bit of space behind the Wolverine defensive back.
It was enough.
Marshall's catch and the ensuing PAT kick gave the Buckeyes a 21-10 lead early in the third.
Barrett did the honors later in the quarter with touchdown run on which he dove over a pair of defenders and into the end zone.
That made it 28-10 with 1:45 to go in the third quarter, and Ohio State tacked on two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter while Michigan managed only a field goal.
Barrett ended up with 139 yards and three touchdowns. He also completed 9 of 15 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown.
Marshall caught two passes for 31 yards.
