Wasilewski's 5 TDs lead Maine over Bryant 35-22

Marcus Wasilewski threw for four touchdowns and ran for another to lead Maine over Bryant 35-22.

Maine ran its record to 3-0 for the first time since 2002.

Wasilewski went 23 of 32 for 263, completing passes to seven receivers in Maine's home opener. All four touchdown passes were to different receivers. Wasilewski also had 10 carries for 69 yards.

Bryant (2-1) hung with Maine in the first half, leading 16-7 midway through the second quarter after blocking a Jeffrey Ondish punt for a safety. The Black Bears answered with two touchdowns in the last 3:11 of the half and didn't look back.

The Bulldogs were led on offense by Paul Canevari, who rushed 18 times for 96 yards and two touchdowns, and Jordan Harris' nine catches for 182 yards.

Bryant is now 0-3 all-time against Maine.
