SEATTLE (AP) New Washington coach Chris Petersen has suspended quarterback Cyler Miles and wide receiver Damore'ea Stringfellow indefinitely for violation of team rules.

Petersen announced the suspensions on Thursday. The school said Petersen would have no further comment on the matter and did not specify what caused the violation.

Myles is the presumptive starting quarterback for the Huskies heading into next season. He was the backup to Keith Price during the 2013 season and started one game late in the season at Oregon State. Stringfellow was also expected to be a starter going into next season after coming on late in the season. Stringfellow had eight catches for 147 yards and a touchdown at UCLA.
