Wake Forest punter kicks his way into record books

It took two tries, but eventually Wake Forest punter Alex Kinal booted his way into the FBS record books. During the Demon Deacons' 28-7 loss to No. 4 Notre Dame on Saturday Kinal connected on his 323 career punt, the most by any player in NCAA history.

Kinal’s first crack at the record-setting punt would end up being nullified by a Notre Dame penalty. However, Kinal would get another chance and nailed a 51-yarder.

Kinal finished the game punting three times for 150 yards.
