Virginia Tech extends scholarship offer to Class of 2016 quarterback
The Hokies are on the hunt for their signal-caller of the future, and Anthony Brown Jr. is one such target. On Monday, the Class of 2016 quarterback recruit announced on Twitter that he had received a scholarship offer to play his college ball at Virginia Tech.
Brown (6-2, 195 lbs.) hails from Holmdel, N.J., and is considering Boston College, Northwestern, Syracuse, Temple and Wake Forest in addition to Tech, according to Chris Horne of TechSideline.com.
Brown is a productive dual-threat QB. As a junior lats fall, he accounted for 2,852 total yards of offense and tallied 32 touchdowns (24 passing, 8 rushing).
