John Robertson's 1-yard touchdown run with 28 seconds remaining in the game led Villanova over William & Mary 20-16.

The winning touchdown capped a 13-play, 80-yard drive as time was expiring to give the Wildcats (3-2, 2-0 Colonial Athletic Association) a conference victory over the Tribe (3-2, 1-1).

Robertson completed 21 of 28 passes for 154 yards and rushed for 70 yards on 18 carries. Villanova's leading rusher was Kevin Monangai with 93 yards on 14 carries.

William & Mary held a 10-3 halftime lead on the strength of Michael Graham's 8-yard TD pass to Sean Ballard, and stretched it to 13-3 after John Carpenter's 24-yard field goal to start the third quarter.
