For his 407-yard, six-touchdown performance in Oregon's 48-28 victory over USC, Ducks QB Vernon Adams Jr. was named the FWAA's national offensive player of the week.
Adams threw touchdowns to six different receivers in the win and the six touchdowns were the most ever allowed by the Trojans.
Former Oregon QB, and 2014 Heisman Trophy winner, Marcus Mariota was in attendance for Oregon's win and came away praising Adams' play.

"He's a playmaker," said Mariota, per GoDucks.com. "He buys time with his feet, finds guys downfield, and the receiving corps is awesome. They're able to make plays."
Oregon has won its past five games since Adams returned from injury in mid-October.
