Vegas has Fournette a longshot to win Heisman based on latest odds
Throughout the first nine weeks of this season, it appeared as if LSU sophomore running back was literally running away with the 2015 Heisman Trophy.
Fournette was firmly secured with the top-odds from Vegas for the vast majority of this time. At one point, he was far and away the top choice.
Fast-forward one month, and Fournette is now essentially a long-shot for the award.
LSU's top-rusher has been plagued by three subpar games (by his standards) in a row. Fournette's rushing totals against Alabama, Arkansas, and Ole Miss were his lowest totals on the year (31, 91, and 108 yards, respectively).
Couple that with the fact that both Alabama running back Derrick Henry and Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson have been playing exceptionally well, and Fournette finds himself now tied for third (along with Ezekiel Elliott and Baker Mayfield) for the best-odds at winning the Heisman.
