Utah coach Whittingham will speculate on USC game, not coaching rumors
Utah coach Kyle Whittingham is considered a frontrunner for USC's head-coaching vacancy.
When his team comes to Los Angeles, however, it's less an audition and more a chance to defend his unbeaten record. Whittingham has been with the program since 1994, as defensive line coach. But Whittingham won't speculate on the USC rumors.

"Any time there's speculation or conversation about openings and that I just choose not to have any comment," Whittingham told the LA Times. "That seems the safest route to go."
When Whittingham was on The College Football Huddle with Bruce Feldman on FOXSports.com, he was asked which USC matchups concern him the most.
"All of them," replied Whittingham. "I don't think there's a coach in the Pac-12 that wouldn't agree that SC, year in and year out, has the most talent out of anybody in the conference."
Whittingham described wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster as a "tremendous" talent, adding that on defense playmakers like Adoree' Jackson can provide lots of spark -- noting that USC causes lots of concern.
