Sean Ianno booted a 34-yard field goal with 14 seconds left as University of Texas San Antonio defeated Tulane 10-7 on Saturday.

UTSA (5-5, 4-2 Conference USA) struck in the third quarter when Brandon Armstrong broke a career-long 68-yard TD run on first down after a Tulane field goal miss and tied the game at 7-7.

Tulane (6-4, 4-2) had more first downs, more yards total offense and held the ball nearly twice as long as UTSA but was unable to reach the end zone after Olreans Darkwa's 9-yard run just before halftime. The seven points was the least allowed by the Roadrunners' defense this season. Steven Kurfehs led the defense with 11 tackles and forced a fumble.

Ianno's game-winner capped a 10-play, 80-yard drive and was set up by a 62-yard pass from Eric Soza to Seth Grubb.
