USC's receivers group just got thinner
USC was supposed to have more options at receiver this year despite the departures of Nelson Agholor, George Farmar and Bryce Dixon.
Sure, the slate of receivers for the Trojans in 2015 are largely unproven, but it's the rotation and potential that gave Steve Sarkisian options. But the receivers group took a hit when they reportedly lost Ajene Harris for the season after undergoing hip surgery earlier this week.
So, what does this mean for USC? Reign of Troy's Alicia de Artola breaks it down.
"Losing Harris may not rise to the level of crisis that losing JuJu Smith or even Steven Mitchell would, since Harris would have entered fall camp as a backup," de Artola writes. "Having said that, Harris' lack of availability highlights the troubles the Trojans could face when developing their offense this year."
USC should have options if in fact Harris is out for the season. But his development along with the collective group just took a hit.
