SAN DIEGO (AP) No. 24 Southern California will play in the Holiday Bowl for the first time when it faces No. 25 Nebraska on Dec. 27.

It will be the fourth appearance for Nebraska.

Nebraska fired Bo Pelini and replaced him with Mike Riley from Oregon State.

However, associate head coach Barney Cotton will coach the Huskers in the game.
