The 2016 college football season just got more interesting.
On Wednesday, USC announced via Twitter that it has scheduled a game against Alabama for '16.
The Trojans and Crimson Tide will play as part of the Cowboys Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
USC and Alabama have played seven times -- Bama has won five times -- but not since the 1985 Aloha Bowl.

In 1970, the two teams played in one of the most important games in college football history, when the Trojans won, 42-41, with a big game from African American running back Sam Cunningham, who has been credited with helping to integrate football in the South.
