UR receives commitment from Chancellor standout
College football: UR gets commitment from Fredericksburg standout
The University of Richmond football program recently received its fourth oral commitment from the Class of 2011.
Micah Cunningham, of Chancellor High in Fredericksburg, is a 5-11, 205-pound quarterback/
defensive back who UR projects as a running back.
Cunningham rushed for 1,528 yards and 22 TDs out of an option offense as a junior and has gained 359 yards with seven TDs in three games this season. He missed Chancellor's first two games because of a sprained knee.
Committing earlier this year to UR were Meadowbrook offensive lineman Rabor Imobisa (6-3, 290 pounds), West Point running back Aaron Roane (6-2, 195 pounds) and Adam Farley (6-1, 330 pounds), a nose tackle from Charlotte Catholic in Charlotte, N.C.
Prospects can't sign binding letters-of-intent until February, and college coaches are prohibited by NCAA rules from commenting on recruits until those letters-of-intent are received.
